Dr Ayana Remy received her Medical Degree from The University of the West Indies Mona Campus is 2001. After completing her Internship, she worked as a Senior House Officer in the Department of Pediatrics at the Princess Margaret Hospital (Bahamas) for 5 years. This experience proved invaluable during her Pediatric Residency at the Newark Beth Israel Hospital in New Jersey where she formalized her pediatric training and became Board-Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in 2008.
Dr Remy also served as a Consultant Pediatrician and Associate Lecturer In Pediatrics at the University of the West Indies for between 2014- 2019. She then committed working full time in Private Practice as Medical Director and founder of Kiddiatrix. Dr Remy is passionate about parenting and patient empowerment. She has a solid interest in Developmental Pediatrics and is a member of the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics and has experience and specialised training with Autism screening and diagnosis including ADOS 2 and STAT. She served as a board member of R.E.A.C.H (Resources and Educational source for Autism and other related challenges for 4 years.
In her spare time Dr Remy enjoys going to the beach, music and spending time with her 2 boys who keep her active.
